The Thermae, the public baths. This large complex is divided into male and female sections, each containing cold, warm and hot baths. The baths are fed by water from the major aqueducts of Rome, and get priority over the water directed to private dwellings. Inside the complex of the Thermae Publica is a Greek-styled palaestra, and just outside is a thermopolium always ready with huge servings of hot food.

Board Description
DOMUS & INSULAE
Without the homes of the wealthy, the domus, and those of the common man, the insulae, Rome could hardly call itself a city. From the large dwellings to the shop/home combination of most insulae, the dwellings and the streets between them provide the essential element of any civilization; its people.
