• respect each other. nobody wants to see you duke it out with another roleplayer in the cbox, kk? if you're going to argue, do it somewhere that it won't affect the site. we don't want people leaving because they can't stand another person on the site; so please, try to settle your problems civilly! we want to keep everyone!
• what the staff say goes. we mean it. if a staff member asks you to revise your application, don't be rude about it and just fix it. the purpose of asking you to fix it is to make you a better writer in general! c: this rule also applies for, well, everything on the site.
• stay active. if you don't think you'll be able to stay active with the site, then don't join. of course we want you here, but we don't want you to get started only to drop off and disappear. we also don't want site hoppers! we realize that life happens, so if something does happen at least leave us a note.
• advertising in the correct boards only. please don't advertise anywhere else -- unless you have permission from the staff!
• on names we're using the three name system here, though your user name will only show your character's given name and family name. learn more here!
• face claims. they must be from an anime, or a game that resembles an anime. no original art, no rl face claims, and nothing that doesn't fall into the categories we said were okay. if you have questions, ask a staff member!
• high quality images, please. we just want to keep the site looking nice.
• keep them the proper size. they need to not stretch the board -- this means at least try to keep them to 420x200.
• no explicit images. we don't want porn on here, k? 8(
• they must be related to your character. this means that you can't just have random images posted in your signature/as your avatar. we want them related to your character, alright?
• there is no word count here. even so, we'd like for you to have a decent paragraph per in character post -- unless, of course, it's an in character game post. but otherwise, we're keeping it at a paragaph. one-four liners will not be tolerated! it's hard to respond to things like that.
• proper grammar plz. lise is a grammar nazi when it comes to roleplaying. in fact, mozilla comes with a built in spell check; if you don't use mozilla, there are spellchecks everywhere available online or on your computer. the least you could do is run a spell check before posting! chat speak is allowed, but only out of character or in games.
• god-moding is no. obviously this is an unspoken rule throughout the board; unless you have permission, don't do it!
